Our studio stands for highest quality craftsmenship and expertise.
This Doll-Making Studio is one of a kind and has been operated by doll-artist Brigitte Ritsch
and husband Hans, since 1988 in Bregenz, (in Austria).
Brigitte Ritsch started her doll-making career in 1985 and her beloved hobby turned into a business in 1988.
Brigitte is one of the most successful doll-makers in Austria, (see: Awards-Career)
She is teaching the art of doll-making to enthusiastic doll-making-students amidst her breathtaking collection of 300 porcelain dolls . Her beginner's courses and projectclasses are not only popular with Austrian participants. Brigitte also teaches students from Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Liechtenstein. Some students come from as far as the United States of America.
Brigittes porcelain dolls are authentic and precisely crafted. They are coveted by collectors all over the world.
Brigitte is an expert in the field of antique porcelain reproduction dolls such as Bru Jne, Jumeau, Kämmer & Reinhardt 100 series (Elise, Grete, Marie, Liebling 117), Kestner "Hilda" etc.
Hundreds of dolls delight the hearts of their new owners in New York, Vienna, Tel Aviv, Bangkok, Vaduz, Munich, Schweden and all over the world. Dozens of letters of satisfaction give proof to the joy and happiness that these dolls have brought to their new owners.
Every doll is dressed with clothing made of antique fabrics, lace, braids, ribbons. Hats an personalized accessories are all in keeping with the original antique style.
Brigitte is also conducting projects. She created two sample dolls (called Lilly and Anni) for artists, which were commissioned
by the Company Lindemann. The dolls came with a painting manual and were included in the catalogue of the firm.
Besides, she produced eight antique reproduction sample dolls in 2001 for the Company Wanke-Glorex.

She is also writing tutorials for special antique reproductions for the "Gildebrief"(Guild-letter), which is well known by all doll artists.
